Vintage Kodak slide carousel boxes, acrylic sheet, vinyl, timber, acrylic paint
106 x 106 x 10 cm

I discovered these vintage Kodak slide carousel boxes in Murwillumbah, and they became the inspiration for these works. Their worn, buff-coloured cardboard forms a grid for coloured timber, acrylic, and vinyl circles, which seem to move like a carousel—echoing the holidays, family gatherings, and celebrations once stored in the boxes.
