This series of four assemblages explores symmetry, surface, and spatial balance through a tightly composed selection of found materials. Glossy pink wedge forms, polished stainless steel domes, deep red card circles, and curved plywood elements are arranged with graphic clarity and restraint. Many of the components were sourced in Sydney, including shop fittings and industrial offcuts.

The works have a refined, almost engineered quality—suggestive of automotive or architectural elements. Half-curves and repeated shapes create a rhythmic visual language, while the use of timber introduces warmth and contrast. Each composition is mounted with care, incorporating built-up layers and slight forward projections to emphasise depth and shadow.

Despite their shared palette and geometry, each piece holds its own distinct visual weight. Together, Face 01–04 forms a study in balance, material interplay, and the expressive potential of repurposed forms.
